Nicole received her J.D. in 2018 from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, cum laude, where she acted as a research assistant for several professors. She received her B.A. in Honors Political Science in 2014 from Wilfrid Laurier University, with distinction, and was awarded the J.C. Herbert Award in Political Science.  

Nicole has significant courtroom experience. She was an Adjudicator for the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada for several years before her transition to New York. She is published on various topics, including sexual and gender-based violence war crimes and conflict of laws.

Nicole is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is also admitted to practice law in Ontario, Canada.
