After graduating law school, Mr. Kaplan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gerard L. Goettel of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and was an Assistant United States Attorney in the criminal division of the United States Attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York under Rudolph Giuliani. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kaplan was a litigation partner in a major New York law firm.  Mr. Kaplan maintains a broad complex commercial litigation practice in both the federal and state courts as well as a white collar criminal defense practice.
